Mary A. Tidlund had been the President and CEO of Trophy Resources, which rolled assets into Williston Wildcatters Oil Corp, a company traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
When the fortunes of Tidlund’s company turned, it was time to turn to philanthropy. She started an international philanthropic venture — the Mary A. Tidlund Charitable Foundation – which was responsible for ultimately, more than 90 projects in 29 countries.
