Welcome! Our goal is to teach the process & importance of failure in the success equation—a concept not taught in business school. We want to listeners to gain inspiration and hope from these failure-to-success stories showcased each week. Listeners will find a home and a life line with people just like them, not above or below them, simply ahead of them in the process. Listeners will find a kindred spirit within the fire and passion of the featured entrepreneurs to answer the question: Where do you go when you don’t know where to go? Our hope is for listeners to come back week-after-week to listen to business owners’ honest appraisals of themselves and others, particularly when things didn’t quite go as planned. We will talk about what others won’t-the other f word –how failure leads to success. IF one is willing to learn to get up one more time than one was knocked down, listeners can learn to reinvent themselves, to adjust and change along the way to find the success they seek.

Our show highlights business success stories that came from failure. Guests share lessons from failure not taught in business school that successful business owners know. These stories are based on failure to inspire you to keep going when the going gets tough, to understand and embrace failure and its purpose.
Our focus is on the process of failure, the process through failure as seen by those business owners who have made friends with failure to help you understand the true path to unlocking success.
The learning touch points are to understand the concept of failure and its process, understand through teachable moments of failure of business success stories, and understanding the truth about success, as success comes AFTER failure.
Dr. Cheryl Lentz
Dr. Cheryl A. Lentz is an author, consultant, speaker, and founder of The Refractive Thinker(r), 16-time award winning series for doctoral scholars. Affectionately known as “Doc C” to her students, she is a university professor on faculty with Embry-Riddle University, Grand Canyon University (GCU), University of Phoenix, and Walden University. Dr. Cheryl serves as a dissertation coach, offering expertise as a professional editor for APA style for graduate thesis and doctoral dissertations, as well as faculty journal publications and books.
Her awards include: Walden Faculty of the Year, DBA Program, 2016 and 18 writing awards. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority.
Dr. Lentz is a prolific author with more than 37 publications known for her writings on The Golden Palace Theory of Management and refractive thinking. Additional published works include “Journey Outside the Golden Palace,” “The Consumer Learner,” “Technology That Tutors,” “Effective Study Skills,” “The Dissertation Toolbox” International Best Seller “The Expert Success Solution,” and her contributions to the award-winning series “The Refractive Thinker(r): Anthology of Doctoral Learners, Volumes I-XIV.” In August, the Refractive Thinker Vol XIV: Healthcare earned Amazon’s number one bestseller status.
