Episode Description

The buzz: “Our emerging workforce is not interested in command-and-control leadership. They don't want to do things because I said so; they want to do things because they want to do them” (Irene Rosenfeld). Businesses are drawing on full-time and external employees – contingent workers, SOW-based consultants, freelancers, contractors, gig workers – to get work done in new ways. The new employment model reality requires strategies to shape new talent and a culture that reimagines, enables and motivates tomorrow’s total workforce. Ready? The experts speak. Nicholas Whittall, Accenture: “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time” (General Creighton Abrams). Dr. Autumn Krauss, SAP SuccessFactors: “Out of intense complexities intense simplicities emerge” (Winston Churchill). Mark Shaw, SAP Fieldglass: “Understanding is a three-edged sword, your side, their side, and the truth” (Babylon 5, 1997). .Join us for Total Workforce Management: The Good, The Bad and The Possible – Part 2.
