RentalEquip Talk Radio is an independent program, hosted by a veteran of the rental industry and it is for people in the rental industry. We cover a variety of topics to benefit those in the industry while preserving some of the history of the industry. We have guests that use our products such as members of the Associated Builders and Contractors and Associated General Contractors. Conversations with leaders in the industry and subjects relevant to the equipment rental industry from a variety of sources including the American Rental Association. We want everyone in the industry to get some value from the show.

Donald Charbonnet

Donald Charbonnet is a veteran of the construction equipment rental and sales industry. He has been a speaker at many American Rental Association Conventions, a Regional Director for Region 4 and award winner at the local and national level. Based in New Orleans, he is a past Executive of the Year in the Greater New Orleans Executive Association as well as past President.

Mr. Charbonnet has run and nurtured several successful rental companies in his career, both individually and as part of a senior management team including, but not limited to, American Rental All, Inc. from 7 to 17 locations, Buckner Rental Service from 7 to 27 locations before selling to Neff Rental and becoming their Vice President of Acquisitions during the consolidation period in the industry. For a brief time, he was Director of Operations of NationsRent with 137 locations. He started and opened 7 green start locations for the local Caterpillar dealer, Louisiana Machinery, called Louisiana Rents across the state of Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina he opened EQUIPCO in New Orleans for some investors. Since that time, he has done consulting work in several industries including the pipeline maintenance industry, eventually becoming CEO and part of the management team that grew Marlin Services from one location in Houma, LA to four locations in four states doing $62 million, during which they sold to a private equity firm.
