Episode Description
Climate Change hysteria has risen to a feverish pitch, growing each year since Al Gore's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, hit theaters. If you believe those who speak the loudest, we're on the verge of extinction because of Global Warming. But not all scientists agree. Indeed, today's guest, Gregory Wrightstone, hopes to calm the hysteria with his new book, Inconvenient Facts: The Science That Al Gore Doesn't Want You to Know. Wrightstone is a geologist who describes himself as a climate contrarian. The latest Climate Change defender is a 16-year-old Swedish girl, Greta Thunberg, who dramatically lashed out at UN leaders for stealing her dreams and her childhood by not doing more to fix Global Warming. Indeed, she's been seized upon as the poster child for the movement, without examining what makes her tick. Her family's books have acknowledged she's suffering from psychological issues, but they prefer to blame them on Climate Change instead of their family psychodynamics.
