Neighborhood House Association (NHA) is one of the largest nonprofit comprehensive human service providers in San Diego, CA. With 125 locations, 25 programs, and over 800 employees, NHA provides quality education, wellness, and social services to diverse community members across the lifespan from prenatal development to the golden years. Join host Dr. Sheryl White as she continues part two of the dialogue with members of NHA’s executive leadership on how the organization has managed to continue to safely serve the community and employ staff during the pandemic. Special guests Rudolph A. Johnson, III, President and CEO; Dwight Smith, Esq., General Counsel and General Manager of Legal; and Damon Carson, J.D., General Manager of Education, Instruction, and Operations and Chairman of the Board for the National Head Start Association will provide an update on the agency’s progress in providing in-person child development services and much more.

Dr. Sheryl White, with Guest Co-Host Dr. Undraye Howard
Dr. Sheryl White, a cultural psychologist, brings over 20 years of experience providing leadership, workforce, and organization development consulting, training, and coaching services to municipalities, nonprofits, educational institutions, and for-profit corporations worldwide. Dr. White, the Vice President of Training and Organization Development at Neighborhood House Association (NHA) in San Diego, CA and is also the founder of NHA’s social enterprise, InnoVisions, which provides professional, leadership, and organization development services to other organizations. Since 1999, Dr. White has served as an executive coach and facilitator with the Center for Creative Leadership. Dr. White is passionate about helping people work better, and better together.
Undraye Howard is vice president of the Center on Leadership at the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities. He also is an adjunct professor at several universities, where he teaches courses on youth, work development, leadership, communication practices and processes, and effectiveness in the human services world. Howard holds master’s in communication with an emphasis in training and development from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree.
