Episode Description
Change is the only constant and the only constant is change. People often fear it yet change is an inevitable part of life, coming to us all, everyday, within every hour from sun up to sunset. It's easy to get into a routine, day in and day out. What would happen however, if you decide to consciously create the change in your life instead of waiting for change to come to you? If you follow that urge to learn a new skill, see the unknown, to do something you've always thought about but put off? How many of us are blocked by fear or indecision to do something new? Sometimes, due to outside circumstances, life changes are forced upon us. How is that change handled, with trepidation or exhilaration? Even in difficult times, when people are forced to make difficult decisions they normally wouldn't have, joy and enrichment can be achieved if you allow yourself to focus on the gifts of the moment. There are always things to be thankful for, in the most dire of circumstances. To take a moment everyday to be grateful for what you have is a sure way to be open to the expansion that new opportunities can offer. According to Guest Melinda Kapor, Intercultural Consultant, photographer, and author, everyone's life is constantly filled with decisions to make but there are those big decisions, which she calls Big Moves, that present themselves when an individual chooses a more uncertain path rather than one which is familiar and seemingly secure. These big moves are everything that offer a new challenging experience, different from one's norm, and which brings out transformation in perspective and personal growth. Embracing the new with faith and love can make all the difference in how change affects you.
