Episode Description
Does history matter? In some circles particularly our current education system in America, history seems to be a minor vs a major subject as a large part of our American History is not only NOT being taught to our children but for the most part our military history being totally expunged from our national dialogue and printed materials. History does matter! The first President of the United States stated that a nation that forgets it’s history, ceased to be a nation. When this show was first broadcast, the title of the first copy was “The American Restaurant “CRYSIS”.” That show has been “hit on” repeatedly by you my listening audience and ranks as one of my most visited playbacks. Restaurants are not just a place to eat, they are a in fact a large part of both the community and financial makeup of metropolitan area’s as a whole. Restaurants for all intents and purposes ARE America! A testimony of this and a historical fact is the story of a family of farmers known as the Knott’s. They began as a berry farm with a roadside stand in the 1930’s and upon discovery of a cross bred berry that has now come to be known as the boysenberry and history was made. Mrs. Knotts began with a restaurant for her famous chicken and of course the dessert was the infamous Boysenberry pies that complemented the menu and satisfied the sweet tooths of the patrons that flocked to their location. The lines became so long that Mr.Knotts began to construct other amusements and stores with a pioneering ambiance and the rest of course is history that is now known the world over as Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. In this case, the attraction of a restaurant that provided excellent food and a trademark that distinguished its cuisine launched an monumental enterprise that has served the differentiating tastes of it clientele for decades. What is even more amazing??? The lines for the Chicken Restaurant at Knott’s are just as jam packed today as they were during the time of Mr. and Mrs. Knott’s. Restaurant’s are part of the fabric of America and are a large part of the Red, White and Blue of our flag as well. During this pandemic that has lasted almost two years now, restaurants have been without a doubt the most embattled market sector of the small business community and hampered by pandemic birthed regulations that have stifled their very existences as many family restaurants have closed during this COVID19 pandemic and have faded into the memory of their patron who fondly “Remember When”.Today, I have as my guest a restaurant owner who dedicated his business as a battleground in the fight against lockdown mandates, willing to risk everything, only in defense of American liberty and Freedom. You will hear how his business has largely become that Phoenix rising out of the ashes during a devastating time in our national history. Join me as we discover together restrauteur's who have refused to throw in the towel and bow down to misguided regulators
BizZne$$ BuzZ and BizZne$$ Watch
Wednesday at 10 AM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Business Channel
BizZne$$ BuzZ is all about your business. Small business is in trouble and they have been as far back as the “rocking” that occurred in 2008. The 14.2 percent loss of many brick and mortar small businesses happened by the year 2015 (source, NFIB 2015 Report). Already being squeezed by Internet predators, like Amazon, E-Bay, etc. They are literally sucking the life out of small businesses by customer and profit “siphoning.” B2B Networking Groups and social media disappointments abound.
Small business needs a “counter” to these E-commerce tsunamis and that mechanism is the power of UNITY, RELATIONSHIP and the Law of RECIPROCITY. This is an EDGE that is a non-compete. The “perfect storm” of shut down/customer distancing, lack of capital and uncertainty are the devastating effects of COVID19 disruption.
Our mission is to provide your business the boost that it needs to recapture your personal visions, rejuvenate your operations and to bring about a platform that represents your interests.
