"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." — Nelson Mandela. As spring begins, colleges send letters of rejection or acceptance to teenagers across the world. Hosts Sidney and Ruhani discuss the process in-depth on today’s show. They are joined by Dr. Don Martin, a successful college admissions coach with 28 years of experience. As he was a dean at many well-known schools across the nation and is currently a renowned counselor, Dr. Martin provides valuable information for any upcoming undergrad or grad school applicant. The three of them touch on relevant topics, such as the search for a college that is able to benefit you completely and the recent cut of UC Berkeley’s admitted class size — you don’t want to miss out! Sidney and Ruhani also talk to Diya during her segment Silver Lining. Diya, a senior in high school who has recently finished her college applications, provides first-hand advice on the process. It’s important to work on your end goal during each school year, but don’t stress too much, you got this! Sidney and Ruhani conclude the show by giving their own takes on the application and admissions process.
