If not, why not? The paradigm of life is the more you help others, the more you help yourself. Hosts Rose and Ruhani share their experiences with being a volunteer. Rose talks about being a counselor at Camp Harmony where she was able to build relationships and have an impact on dozens of homeless and less fortunate children using her leadership skills. Ruhani believes that working with children is specifically fulfilling. Ruhani is currently volunteering teaching a Writing with the Stars FREE online writing workshop. They discuss the importance of volunteering for nonprofits where you believe in the mission. Ruhani and Rose provide information on various opportunities and suggest people do a Google search to align passions with volunteer work including conservation, farm work, climate change, art, or working with the elderly. Kevin Choo, the newest reporter for Be The Star You Are!® launches his segment, “A.I. and Us,” to discuss the ramifications A.I. has and will have on different parts of our life. Produced by Starstyle Productions, LLC as an international outreach program of Be the Star You Are! charity, the radio program, Express Yourself! is a show for, by, and about teens. Hosted by teens and teenage field reporters from around the country, Express Yourself! is THE destination for teens to be heard. Within the walls of the young adult community, listeners are uplifted and encouraged to be the stars of your own life. Through collaboration and conversation, a global campus of young people express their views. Topics include anything that kids talk about-books, music, making a difference, technology, school, art, humor, writing, tough talks, health, sports, films, family, friends, foes, fashion, and fun.
