What is the metaverse? There are two types of metaverses. The one with a capital M is the Metaverse being created by Facebook, aka Meta. The metaverse without a capital “m” is a general term used to define a virtual reality space in which users can interact with a computer-generated environment and other users. Hannah and Sharanya host this program detailing the metaverse and have a discussion that covers numerous aspects of virtual reality and their opinions of how it will be utilized by teens. Sharanya shares how to write a dystopian novel and shares an original poem about dystopia. Nihal talks about how the metaverse may help teens be more socialized. He also shares the negatives of these connections. Kevin merges A.I. with the metaverse and indicates the importance of A.I. One of these roles will most likely be automatic language translation, a very necessary portion of international communication. Another way A.I. will become a massive part of the metaverse is through assisting those with disabilities so they can live without them, at least in the metaverse. .A.I. will be the god of the metaverse. It creates humanity through its digital avatars, gifts them communication via translating and sending out what they say, ensures that fairness is upheld through smart contracts, and records all that happens in ledgers and files. Hosted by teens and teenage field reporters from around the country, Express Yourself! is THE destination for teens to be heard. Within the walls of the young adult community, listeners are uplifted and encouraged to be the stars of your own life. Through collaboration and conversation, a global campus of young people express their views. Topics include anything that kids talk about-books, music, making a difference, technology, school, art, humor, writing, tough talks, health, sports, films, family, friends, foes, fashion, and fun.
