Dr. Sandra Musial, a pediatrician and practiced pediatric medicine for 24 years, transitioned over to the field of Food as Medicine. She is passionate about teaching adults the importance of food in relation to health, both as it pertains to causing so many of the western diseases our country faces today, but also how getting back to home-cooked whole plant-based meals can fuel the body with the nutrients it needs to heal itself. Dr. Musial started Plant Docs in 2019 along with Drs Lee and Stein, which is a non-profit organization. They also provide private MD Nutrition consultations, plant-based cooking classes, and a nutrition program just for cancer survivors. The Plant Docs programs provide high quality evidence-based education to folks looking to improve their health through food. The programs focus mostly on nourishing plant-based foods that are unprocessed in their most whole form, without added oils or sugars. Dr. Musial will discuss the The Plant Docs signature program, a month-long Jumpstart Your Health program to improve health in just one month.
