As we age our hormone levels change leading to lots of changes to our bodies. Both men and women alike can see changes that may not be comfortable or wanted. There may be a way to keep some of these changes at bay: hormone replacement therapy. There has been a lot of buzz recently about bioidentical hormones. This week we will discuss hormone replacement therapy and the benefits of various ways to achieve better balance in your body. Joining us this week will be Dr. Victor Shabanah, a Board Certified Surgeon and Medical Director of AAG Health Clinic. He will share his experience and thoughts on hormone replacement therapy and the use of bioidentical hormones. Also joining the show will be Dr. Alvaro Gordo, board certified gynecologist who will offer his thoughts on HRT. Dr. Adam Rubinstein
Dr. Adam Rubinstein is a highly respected and recognized board certified plastic surgeon providing top notch care to patients from South Florida, across the United States, and many countries throughout the world.
Dr. Rubinstein is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has trained with the world's eminent surgeons at the forefront of developing techniques for plastic surgery. He has served as Chief of Plastic Surgery for Jackson North Medical Center. Dr. Rubinstein is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at NOVA Southeastern University, and clinical faculty for the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program in Florida.
He has been newly appointed to the teaching faculty of the Florida International University (FIU) College of Medicine Department of Surgery. He is the exclusive plastic surgeon for the Pritikin Longevity Center. Dr. Rubinstein currently serves on the editorial board of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal published by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He holds memberships in many prestigious medical societies and associations, which include The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons. He is the current vice president of The Ralph Millard Jr., M.D. Medical Society & Education Foundation.
