The CDC recently reported that Lyme disease affects 300,000 victims each year, a rate 10 times higher than previously reported. Tick-borne diseases pose a national health crisis. TBDA is dedicated to raising awareness about these diseases and the very easy ways we can all protect ourselves. John talks about how The Tick-Borne Disease Alliance and 24-year-old have joined forces to launch Bite Back for a Cure, a cross-country bike tour to build support in the fight against tick-borne diseases. Donnally is beginning his tour across America on Sunday, September 29, in the San Francisco area.
