Episode Description
In this episode, we featured Sharon Lechter, a best-selling author, inspirational speaker, and financial literacy extraordinaire. Through her book, Think and Grow Rich for Women, Sharon aims to enforce the importance of “changing to dialogue” from one of criticizing and complaining about what still needs to happen for women to be successful in male-dominated businesses and in leadership positions, to one of celebrating the progress that has been made. She also provides insight on how women can effectively juggle both a prospering career and family without feeling guilt or regret. Lastly, Sharon outlines an exciting way for teens to learn the essentials of financial literacy and the importance of saving and spending wisely with the interactive game “Thrive Time for Teens”, created by her company Pay Your Family First.
