Statistics show that currently, women make up only about 5% of CEO positions and about 17% of the corporate board members among Fortune 500 companies. This number has not changed significantly in over a decade. While women are making inroads into business ownership, men still outnumber women in this arena too. Why is it that women struggle with stepping into leadership and owning it?
