Timaree Schmit
Dr. Timaree Schmit earned a doctorate in Human Sexuality from Widener University, which is just the latest in a lifelong search for rational, empirically based sex-positive knowledge about the most important and interesting topic on Earth. She runs SexwithTimaree.com, a clearinghouse for information, pictures, videos, news, advice and the latest in popular culture as it pertains to sex, as well as the podcast version of Sex with Timaree, which has gained a great deal of popularity on iTunes. She has worked as an HIV Prevention counselor and tester, peer sexuality educator, adjunct professor and guest lecturer. She is the founder of the Human Sexuality Education Student Organization and a founding member of Gamma Eta Rho, an international honor society for the study of sexuality. Timaree is also a certified fitness instructor who teaches everything from Pilates, weight training, sculpting and kickboxing to dance classes.
