Dr. Dennis C. Hammond
Dr. Dennis C. Hammond is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast. Dr. Hammond is recognized as a national and international expert in all aspects of breast surgery. He has authored numerous scientific papers, co-edited two respected textbooks in breast surgery, and has authored his own best selling plastic surgery textbook, “Atlas of Aesthetic Breast Surgery”. Dr. Hammond also serves as an associate editor for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the main scientific journal for plastic surgery. Dr. Hammond actively lectures and performs surgical demonstrations all over the world. Current areas of active research include breast implant technology, the use of cohesive anatomically shaped implants in breast augmentation, reduced scar breast surgery, and outcomes research in breast reconstruction.
