Derrick Lamar
For almost twenty years Derrick Lamar Smith has passionately and purposefully made it his mission to lead men, women and children in restoring relationships with God and each other. Derrick is a native of Ocala, FL graduating from Vanguard High School. He has attended Community College of the Air Force, Nova Southeastern University, and Southern Christian University and in January he will begin the completion of a BA degree in Christian Counseling at Baptist College of Florida. Derrick serves as the organizing and Senior Pastor of the Bright Hope Christian Church in Tallahassee, FL. He is married to the former Kyra L. Moody of Houston TX and is the very proud father of a thirteen-year-old son, Ryan Andrew Smith.
