Raymond Applebaum
Raymond Applebaum has since 1998 been the CEO of Peel Senior Link. This non-profit charitable organization established in 1991 makes independent living possible for senior citizens who might otherwise be expected to enter more institutional settings, such as Long-Term Care facilities and hospitals. He is series moderator and producer for Rogers Television’s ‘Aging in Peel’. His experience includes managing various special projects, work with the Regional Geriatric Program of Toronto, and Board member of the Ontario Gerontology Association. He’s the founder, in 2005, of the Metamorphosis Project. He’s past member of the Provincial Advisory Committee on Seniors’ Housing. He’s received the Canadian Healthcare Association’s Award for Distinguished Service, among many recognitions for his work for seniors.
