Leo R. McCafferty
Leo R. McCafferty is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery, received his Bachelor of Science from Penn State, his M.D. from Temple University and completed his General Surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and Plastic Surgery training at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Medical Center, Miami, Florida under D. Ralph Millard, Jr., M.D. Prior to his return to Pittsburgh, Dr. McCafferty was Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Miami and Chief of Staff Services at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Dr. McCafferty is on the Board of Directors, Vice President and Regional Spokesperson for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Ethics Committee for the American Society of Plastic Surgery, President of the Allegheny County Medical Society, Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, and Past President of the Millard Society. Dr. McCafferty is in private practice in Pittsburgh, PA and also the plastic surgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
