Ron Creevey
Ron Creevey MY first guest today is a guy I have known for a number of years who has been hugely successful in the internet space and now has the balls to take on Facebook. For those of you who watch the business news channels you would have seen some of their media conferences over the last few weeks. Ron Creevy was responsible for many of Australia's first commercial internet links in the 1990's. He became Managing Director for Magna Data, then owned by NTT Japan with over 4000 corporate clients in Australia. In 2007, Ron teamed up with mobile pioneer Thomas Ziliacus who started Nokia Asia as together they formed Yoo Zoo, the leading global and payments company based out of Singapore. The first shot across the bow of Facebook is "The Break", a worldwide 'Battle of the Bands ' and over 1000 bands have registered and uploaded their video chip. Today Yuu Zoo has 2 million registered users in 164 countries.
