Samira K. Beckwith
Samira K. Beckwith, LCSW, FACHE, has over 30 years’ experience in professional health care and social services. She has served as President and CEO of Hope HealthCare Services, headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida, since 1991. Under her leadership, Hope has created a unique array of services for the frail elderly and children and today serves nearly 3,000 people and their families. In 2010, Beckwith received a lifetime achievement award from the National Association of Social Workers Foundation, in recognition of her “exemplary and visionary contributions in the field of health care and social work, driven by a life-long passion to help others to live a better life, even in its final chapter.” At her alma mater, Beckwith was inducted into The Ohio State University College of Social Work Hall of Fame. Beckwith has provided expert testimony on healthcare before government bodies including the US House Judiciary Committee.
