Peter Aceto
Peter Aceto, President & CEO, began his career with ING DIRECT Canada over a decade ago as a founding member of its senior leadership team. As senior leader of ING DIRECT, Peter provides his relentless focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience, maintaining a simple and efficient business model, working with management to develop and evolve an innovative, winning and adaptable strategy, managing risk, return and growth; and building an ever strengthening team to execute the company's vision. Peter is also on the Business Development Committee of Mt. Sinai Hospital and is a Member of the Council of Governors of i-Canada dedicated to helping Canada be a world leading “intelligent nation”. Peter was recognized as the 2010 Communicator of the Year by the Toronto Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Under his leadership, ING DIRECT was recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Best Employers and one of Canada’s Top 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures.
