Valerie Adams
Valerie Adams joined the Autism Spectrum Therapies team in April 2011. She has over 29 years of experience as an occupational therapist, primarily working with children. Her knowledge of children and adolescents with disabilities is extensive. She is a contributing author of the book Guidelines for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy in California Public Schools. In 2003 she was the recipient of the Occupational Therapy Practice Award from the Occupational Therapy Association of California. In addition to being an alumnus from the University of Southern California, she has also been a clinical faculty member of the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at USC. Valerie has lived in Southern California her entire life and enjoys traveling to other places. She and her husband of 25 years have raised two sons, now 20 and 19 years old, multiple dogs, and other critters, and now have 2 chickens running around their yard.
