Kimpton Williams In what could become a trend in the years ahead, a Kentucky-based Grade 1 stakes winner is relocating to Ohio, where the state’s racing and breeding program looks to benefit from the addition of Video Lottery Terminals at seven racetracks and three land-based Casinos. The Cliff’s Edge winner will now stand at Fair Winds Farm in Waynesville, Ohio. Established in 1982 by Kim and Lori Williams, Fair Winds Farm was voted the 2009 Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders State Breeders Award. The farm is also home to Mercer Mill, the state’s leading stallion for eight years. Kim, who is also a board member with the Ohio H.B.P.A.
