Dr. Peter T. Treadway
Dr. Peter T. Treadway is an independent consultant and money manager and has served as Adjunct Professor in Asia. He is currently a principal of Historical Analytics LLC, a consulting/investment management firm dedicated to global portfolio management. Its investment approach is based on Dr. Treadway’s Wall Street experience. A monthly letter entitled The Dismal Optimist is produced for clients. Dr. Treadway also serves part time as Chief Economist, C T RISKS, a Hong Kong company. In this capacity, in Asia he has given occasional one day workshops on sovereign risk. His distinguished career includes serving as Chief Economist at Fannie Mae (1978-81) and institutional equity analyst and Managing Director at Smith Barney (1985-98). He was ranked as “all star” analyst eleven times by Institutional Investor Magazine. Dr. Treadway holds a PhD in economics from the Univ. of North Carolina (Chapel Hill), an MBA from NYU and a BA in English from Fordham University, N.Y.
