Boyd Bailey, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.(NCCAOM)
Boyd Bailey, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.(NCCAOM) received his Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1997 from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (now Bastyr University) in Seattle, WA. Boyd, currently in private practice, has treated patients with many different health conditions in a variety of clinical settings. Extensively and eclectically trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese, and Korean acupuncture traditions, Boyd is also a certified Toyohari® practitioner and proficient in Shonishin pediatric acupuncture. Since 2009, Boyd has served as the acupuncture consultant for WakeForest Baptist Health’s Center for Integrative Medicine. He is co-investigator for an NIH-funded Phase 2 clinical trial of the effects of acupuncture on menopausal hot flashes and one of four acupuncturists in this 2 year study. Boyd has worked closely with both local private practices of OB/GYN and especially with Wake Forests’ Center for Reproductive Medicine.
