Richard Hill is the author of Finding Family: My Search for Roots and the Secrets in My DNA. He was introduced to several forms of DNA testing in his search to find his family. Motivated to share his success with other adoptees, he created his easy-to-understand web site, DNA Testing Adviser . As the expert who bridges the fields of genetic genealogy and adoption search, he helps adoptees, genealogists, and others seeking to find lost relatives or confirm suspected relationships. His groundbreaking use of genetic genealogy tests in adoption search was featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal. Hill gives talks on DNA testing and serves on the Advisory Board of the Mixed Roots Foundation where he is Co-Director of the Global Adoptee Genealogy Project. He provides free specific test recommendations to those who contact him through his Feedback Form or his Facebook Page. Hill has a BS in physics and an MBA, and lives in West Michigan with his wife of forty-four years.
