Dr. Richard Goodwin
Dr. Richard Goodwin is a Senior Researcher at IBM’s T. J Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY. He applies his background in artificial intelligence and mobile robotics to improving customer insight, experience and engagement for both retail and business customers. Previously, Richard worked on tools to improve knowledge sharing for IBM’s SAP consultants and on agent-based optimization for steel mills and paper mills. He has published more than 40 scientific papers, is a winner of the Wagner Prize in Operations Research, and holds 13 U.S. patents.
