Carmen O’Shea
Carmen O’Shea is Head of Talent Marketing at SAP and was named Interim Head of Diversity at SAP from July 2012 to March 2013. Prior to this role, she led Innovation Marketing. As part of the Senior Executive Women’s network at SAP, she actively mentors employees. Before joining SAP, Carmen spent seven years in IBM’s Business Transformation Outsourcing, Software, Global Small Business, and Corporate units, and created the IBM Multi-Cultural Women’s network, the first cross-constituency effort of its kind. She also led La Red, a 1000-women Hispanic initiative focused on leadership development of IBM Latinas. Carmen graduated with honors in Anthropology from Harvard University, where she was a member of the Women’s Advisory Group to the Dean of Harvard College and was ranked #1 in her Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps class. She is an Advisory Board member for Watermark, a community of women leaders and a Commissioner of the Women’s Refugee Commission.
