Michael Gliedman
Michael Gliedman, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the NBA (National Basketball Association), directs all technology initiatives relating to the collection, cataloging, storage, archiving and retrieval of NBA assets. Through a new partnership with SAP, Michael was instrumental in the league’s unveiling www.NBA.com/Stats, an unprecedented statistical destination on NBA.com providing access to the league’s entire official statistics history, back to the inaugural 1946-47 season. His teams provide technical infrastructure and on-the-ground support for more than 50 major events a year, including NBA All-Star, playoffs, finals, and NBA Global Games. Michael has helped drive technical marketing partnerships with IBM, Dell, Oracle, AT&T, Research In Motion, Verizon, Lenovo, HP, Akamai, Cisco, and SAP. Prior to the NBA, he was Senior Vice President of Application Development for infoworks, a Viacom technology service supporting MTV Networks and Showtime Networks.
