K9s For Warriors
K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to our warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress as a result of conflicts and war after 9/11. Sandi Capra of K9s For Warriors will explain how they involve the veteran in the training of their new service canine partner, allowing them the opportunity to be part of the solution to their recovery. K9’s For Warriors provides a service canine, training, certification, equipment, seminars, vet care, most meals and housing, free of charge. K9s For Warriors is supported by The Wounded Warrior Project, Birdies for the Brave, Warrior Gateway, and many other military organizations. Staff Sargent David Moore recently retired from the Georgia Army National Guard 48th brigade 1/108th CAV. He served two tours of duty during OIF and OEF of which he sustained many injuries.
