Heather Marquard
Heather Marquard graduated with a professional degree in architecture from the University of Detroit’s School of Architecture. She has worked as an architect, specifications writer, and project manager for national firms headquartered in Detroit before starting her own sustainability consulting firm. She later relocated to California and works for a multigenerational family firm as an architect and sustainable consultant. She is an AIA member licensed in both Michigan and California and has worked on a variety of projects in her career, from the very small single-office tenant improvement to the very large corporate campus complex.Ms. Marquard was selected as USGBC LEED Faculty in 2003, and has been helping educate other professionals about sustainability, green building, and the LEED Rating Systems ever since. Heather also serves on the United States Green Building Council.
