Nick Lowery is a Hall of Fame athlete, Ivy scholar, Presidential aide, poet, teacher, and philanthropist. Nick was inducted into the Kansas City Chiefs HOF in 2009 as their all-time leading scorer. As the most accurate and prolific field goal kicker in NFL History when he left the NFL, Nick set 4 all-time records. Nick’s story is about persistence, focus and passion – before making it to the Chiefs Hall of Fame, he was cut by eight NFL teams eleven times! He is the only American to work for both President George HW Bush and President Bill Clinton in the White House Office of National Service. In 2002 Lowery became the first pro athlete with both a Masters and Fellowship from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He founded Champions for the Homeless 7 years ago, supporting St. Vincent De Paul’s family of friends with 20 events on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter each year with NFL, Major League and Country Music Hall of Famers spreading encouragement and love.
