Dr. Michele Kerulis

Dr. Kerulis’ years of experience as an athlete, fitness professional, performer, and therapist have created the foundation for her belief that the skills necessary to achieve success in sport and performance are the same skills necessary to achieve excellence in life. She has worked with a variety of populations and has helped groups and individuals live their dreams through helping them realize limitless possibilities while attaining lifelong wellness. Dr. Michele Kerulis is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of IL and a certified consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (CC-AASP). Dr. Kerulis is the Program Director of Sport & Health Psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. She is highly involved in professional associations and holds leadership roles in several associations, including President of the Illinois Counseling Association (2013-2014). Dr. Kerulis is a professor of counseling and sport psychology, an active freelance writer, private practice therapist, public speaker, and prepares and presents workshops for a variety of audiences. Dr. Kerulis’ research interests include Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), women and exercise, and general health and wellness. Dr. Kerulis’ clinical work includes clinical supervision of a residential treatment center, crisis interventions, and working with children and adolescents with severe mental health issues.
