Bill Crawford
United Financial Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select "UBNK" ticker) is the bank holding company for United Bank and Rockville Bank (division of United Bank) a $5 billion CT state chartered community bank founded in 1858 with 60 branches in New England with principal executive offices in Glastonbury, CT. Mr. Crawford joined the bank in January 2011, taking the company public via a 2nd step equity conversion offering raising an additional $171 million in capital March 2011. He became president and CEO of the holding company and bank in April 2011. United Financial Bancorp Inc and Rockville Financial, Inc. completed their strategic merger of equals April 30, 2014 with a combined market cap exceeding $700 million. Per the merger agreement, Mr. Crawford became CEO of the combined companies and banks.
