Dana Mitroff Silvers
Dana Mitroff Silvers is a digital strategy consultant and design thinking facilitator, specializing in arts and cultural institutions. Dana helps organizations use design thinking, a user-centered process for innovation, to conceptualize, develop, and implement projects ranging from website re-launches to exhibition redesigns. Her blog, Design Thinking for Museums, is a popular resource among museum professionals, and she is a frequent speaker at professional conferences including museums and the Web, Museum Computer Network, and the American Alliance of Museums. Dana is the former head of the web at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, where she oversaw the research, development, design, and production of the museum’s award winning site, www.sfmoma.org, for over 10 years. Dana holds an MA in art history from the University of Chicago and a BA in journalism from the University of Southern California.
