April Bowling
April Bowling, doctoral student in the Department of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health; former Executive Director of the TriROK Foundation, an organization dedicated to guiding sedentary families to active lifestyles through the foundational sports of swimming, biking, and running; a nationally recognized endurance sports coach; and mom to Morgan, age 11, and Sam, age 9. April graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in environmental earth science and engineering, and got her masters in urban and environmental planning from Tufts; she now brings strong science and engineering background to bear structuring innovative interventions to change health behaviors in children and families
