Kathryn Bowers
Kathryn Bowers is a science journalist who has taught courses at UCLA and Harvard. A Future Tense Fellow at New America in Washington, D.C., she was previously an editor at Zócalo Public Square in Los Angeles, a staff editor at The Atlantic, and a writer/producer for CNN International in London. Together with Barbara Natterson-Horowitz MD, she is the author of their previous book, Zoobiquity, a New York Times Bestseller, Discover magazine’s Best Book Times bestseller of 2012, and a finalist for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)/Subaru SB&F Prize for Excellent in Science Books award.
