Stacie Stigar
Stacie Stigar is the owner of The UPS Store franchise in Palmer, Alaska, a small community about 40 miles north of Anchorage. While she was still Executive Director of the United Way, Stacie had frequented a local The UPS Store and was always impressed with the owner’s ingenuity, and customer service. Inspired, Stacie decided to open her own franchise, and after 18 months of hard work and increasing dedication towards making her business a success, she finally left her position at United Way to focus on her franchise full-time. After joining the franchise network, Stacie received strong operational and marketing support. She has also become active within The UPS Store corporate structure and was elected to serve a on the company’s Marketing Advisory Committee, providing feedback to The UPS Store leadership. Part of Stacie's success has been her sharp business acumen, inherent motivation, and a credo she picked up along the way and made very personal -- If it’s to be, it’s up to me.
