Brigit Hassig
Brigit Hassig is the Executive Director of Four Pointes – Center for Successful Aging located in Grand Haven, MI. She holds an MPA (Masters in Public Administration) and has been involved in nonprofit management for over 20 years, with a focus on social entrepreneurialism (innovation) in human services. Four Pointes recently completed a large scale relocation and rebranding project directed to better representing the opportunities in aging. With over 1600 members, 100 skilled volunteers and 22 staff, the agency has recently received the national Bronze 2014 NuStep Pinnacle Award for Senior Centers, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Diana Jones Award for volunteerism in service delivery and the Michigan Association of Senior Center Innovative Program award. Brigit and her staff were highlighted in the recently published book by Dr. Roger Landry, Live Long, Die Short, as being “out in front of the national movement to bring successful aging to all.” She is a frequent speaker, webinar contributor and recently nominated for the Athena Award dedicated to promoting women’s community contributions.
