Loren Smith
Loren Smith joined Capital Alpha in 2009. He spent the preceding eight years in government, first as a legislative aide to Rep. Vito Fossella of New York, then as Director of Congressional and Public Affairs for the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (an independent watchdog agency), and finally as special assistant for public affairs at the U.S. Department of Labor. Prior to entering government service, Smith worked for a variety of public-policy non-profit organizations, and graduated from Boston College in 1998.
