Author Landria Onkka spent 20 years as an investment banker, working with
pro athletes, entertainers and some of the wealthiest people in the country.
She had been a former pro cheerleader, lived and worked in Europe for
several years, was a writer on Capitol Hill, worked on Wall Street and had a
life many people admired. But, when she recently lost both parents and her
beloved dog, she realized that life is precious and there were dreams that
she still desired to manifest. She made a radical decision. She quit
investment banking and launched a new company in interior design and women's
