Dr. Ned Holstein
Ned Holstein, MD, MS is the founder and the current Chairman of the
Board of the National Parents Organization, the nation’s largest shared parenting advocacy organization. He is an expert on child custody, parental equality, and shared parenting. As an advocate for children and modern families, he is heavily
involved in efforts to reform U.S. family court systems in a way that
encourages shared parenting, gender equality, and, above all, the best
interest of the child. Dr. Holstein was appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts to the Massachusetts Working Group on Child Friendly Family Law and was appointed by a Massachusetts Chief Justice to a task force charged with reviewing and revising the state’s child support guidelines.
Dr. Holstein graduated from Harvard University, received his Master’s Degree in Psychology from MIT and earned his Medical Degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, where he later served as teacher and researcher.
