Diana Raab, Ph.D.



Diana Raab, Ph.D. is a memorial, poet, essayist, blogger and educator and holds workshop in writing for healing and transformation. She holds a Ph.D. In Psychology with a concentration in Transpersonal Psychology, and a research focus on the healing and transformative powers of memoir writing. She began writing as a child when her mother gave her a journal to help her cope with the loss of her grandmother to suicide. Dr. Raab is a two-time cancer survivor and has written 2 memoirs, Regina’s Closet: Finding My Grandmother’s Secret Journal and Healing With Words: A Writer’s Cancer Journey. Dr. Raab is a regular blogger for Psychology Today, Huffington Post (Huff50), and BrainSpeak. She teaches worldwide workshops and inspires novice and established writers the power of self-expression through the written word. She energizes, inspires and motivates writers, poets, psychologists, cancer survivors and women. Raab currently resides in Southern California with her husband and soul mate of 4 decades. She has 3 grown, creative and entrepreneurial-driven children.
