Professor Diane Swanson
Diane L. Swanson is Professor of Management and Edgerley Family Chair of Distinction at Kansas State University where she chairs the Business Ethics Education Initiative. She is also a Distinguished Visiting Scholar in the Center for Values-Driven Leadership at Benedictine University where she teaches executive managers. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and her M.A. in Economics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
An award-winning author and educator, Dr. Swanson is recognized in several Who’s Who bibliographical indices. Her service on journal editorial boards is extensive, and she was an Associate Editor for the award-winning Encyclopedia of Business Ethics and Society. Professor Swanson has published widely on business ethics and corporate social responsibility. Her newest book, Embedding CSR into Corporate Culture: Challenging the Executive Mind, was published in 2014 by Palgrave Macmillan.
