Jason Schmitt
Jason Schmitt, Vice President and General Manager of the Fortify business in HP Enterprise Security Products, is responsible for the strategic direction and market success of the Fortify software security business. He was previously Director of Product Management for Fortify, responsible for product and go-to-market strategy for software security assurance solutions. Previously, Jason held product management and engineering leadership positions at application security startup SPI Dynamics (until its acquisition by HP in 2007); Barracuda Networks, a security and networking appliance company; Steelbox Networks, a venture-backed video surveillance storage and networking company; EzGov, an e-government solution provider; and Ariba, a procurement and e-commerce software company. Jason started in management consulting with the telecommunications industry at Accenture. He holds a BA in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and MBA from Georgia State University.
