Amber Moulder
Executive Director
Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, Amber began working in a long-term substance abuse clinic for women and their children. From there she began working in the childcare field where she began as an Assistant Director and worked her way through each company to become the Executive Director and began opening centers throughout the state of Oklahoma. After gaining experience in this field, she began working in Family Law for the State of Oklahoma in the Child Support Division. During which time she began doing a lot of volunteer and nonprofit work. She soon realized her passion was with nonprofit and began seeking employment full time in that field.
In April 2012, a tornado hit her hometown of Woodward, OK and she dove into being a part of the recovery process by joining the long term recovery team. She took an opportunity to work for the Muscular Dystrophy Association as a Fundraising Coordinator. During which time the tornado hit the Oklahoma City metro and she found herself engulfed in the recovery process once again. It was through these times, she gained the majority of her non-profit experience and began “Oklahoma Strong”. While employed with MDA, she was introduced to Warriors for Freedom Foundation and began volunteering and assisting with grant writing with them until she started full time in January of 2014
