Guillermo Rodriguez
Guillermo Rodriguez is the Policy & Communications Director for the San Francisco Department of the Environment. He is responsible for managing the department’s local, state and federal relations program and oversees strategic communications for the department. Prior to joining the department, Guillermo worked for the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development where he managed major development and workforce projects. Before his public and private sector work, Guillermo was the Executive Director of Latino Issues Forum, a nonprofit policy institute. Guillermo remains active with several local and statewide nonprofits and serves as an expert witness on energy matters before both the California Public Utilities and state Energy Commission.
